Sinopsys

Hello, sailors!

The time has come for San Andreas Multiplayer to pursuit new horizons.
We all know that the land of this good old map has been deeply modified to accommodate all types of creative games that could be conceived by developers. Those guys do a very good job in keeping this game alive.

But I wish more.

The sea around San Andreas is mostly thought and worked as a secondary scenario for the inland game modes. I propose an inversion:
The untouched wilderness of the waters of San Andreas shall be filled with action. Dry land will be only a pit stop.

"A risky move" some of you may think. The water mechanics of this game (originally) can become very action-unfriendly, but that is something whose solution I already have in mind.

I'm currently developing this server by myself, I don't have much free time, only one friend helps me during testing. So it is going to take a long time.

So, what is this server about?

The navies of Los Santos, San Fierro and Las Venturas dispute control of ports, anchorages, bays, rivers, lagoons and islands across the map. Pirates cause trouble and loot wherever they go.
Cargo ships sail the sea, and are easy targets for Pirates, they should be defended while they're within a navy's territorial waters.
The weather has its own special place there, as it does in real life. It is synchronized among players and is dynamically changing throughout the day (and night). Watch out for enemies behind the fog, try hitting that player under heavy storms, or go for an amphibious assault in a plaid sunny day, before it rains again.

Most of the action on the server takes place on or near water. In this type of scenario, ownership of vessels is mandatory. Boats are reinforced to ensure fights of reasonable duration, so as to fulfill the role of a mobile and resistant attack platform.
It will encourage attacks between players, rather than trying to explode the vehicle.

Shooting a floating player from a likewise floating platform shall be a challenging experience, as you might conceive.

This mode has many inspirations from the life at sea. Although not a seaman myself, I appreciate such stories.

I can't wait to see my small world alive, look forward to see ya'll there.

See you at the next port, sailors!

Testing: a pirate watches a ship about to be boarded.
